Founder Marlies has a keen sense for fashion and interior design. After working as a stylist at a Dutch fashion company in Amsterdam for years, she decided to quit her job in June 2020 to fully focus on her passion and the growth of Maria el Mar. With this company she creates unique works of art from oyster shells that serve as exclusive accessories in any interior.
